Northern Indiana REACT C-100 started out as the 100th Chartered REACT Team in the United States.  We were formed in the mid 1960s and continue to this day.  The original name of the team was St. Joseph Valley REACT C-100.  During it's peak, St. Joseph Valley REACT had over 100 members with special recognition by State and St. Joseph County government.  We monitored CB channel 9 and used CB Channel 1 for our communication.

In 1984 our team's communication expanded with the use of a local GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) repeater on 462.675 Mhz (Channel 20-GMRS).

In recent years, the team has its name to Northern Indiana REACT C-100 and is under new management.  We are in need of volunteers who want to serve St. Joseph and Elkhart Counties.  If you are that person, please send us an e-mail at the Contact Us page.
